Officially presented at Vinitech 2006, this new way of stocking barrels got a warm welcome in California, where four renowned estates have already equipped their cellars with the stainless steel version. This enthusiasm then swept the region of Bordeaux, where the first installations have been recently finalized. As this is being written, a Scottish distillery is being equipped with more than 3000 barrels on seven levels. A few pictures will soon be on line.
