A unique concept

How can you optimize barrel storage with a system that combines safety, convenience and productivity? How can you redesign conventional wedging systems so as to avoid unstacking all your barrels?

The original idea - A structure in which barrels are placed on a set of rollers. The space above each bung is free, allowing for work to be done on each barrel independently, in place. With the ability to access each barrel in the stack independently, it is possible to open, hot water rinse, fill, rack, clean, sample, rotate, and remove each barrel in the stack without touching any neighboring barrels. OXOline® is a modular system allowing assembly and configuration to meet the requirements of your space and work process.

  • Streamline the barrel maturation process to improve your productivity.

For 20 years, OXOline® has been reinventing barrel cellar management. At your request, our research department has developed accessories to move full and empty barrels, motorized rotation systems, expandable bungs ...and various accessories to help you manage your barrel cellars.

REASONS TO CHOOSE OXOline®

01/05
Increase your storage capacity
01/05

Barrel storage up to 11 levels, in staggered rows > optimized height.

Handling tools that allow for minimal aisle widths.

Washing and handling without unstacking > elimination of barrel evacuation areas and washing rooms.

Reduces your operating costs and capital investment
02/05

Install, align, and remove barrels in the stack with only one person. Fill, top, stir lees, rack, clean, and taste each barrel without moving the stack. -> Significant reduction in working time.

Barrel cleaning areas in the cellar are eliminated, maximizing usage of your cellar -> square footage.

Reduces required cellar size, resulting in capital investment savings Barrels are not under pressure from the weight of the stack > better barrel resale and lower risk of leakage.

Assists in the enhancement of quality in your wines and spirits
03/05

Reduced usage of forklifts (propane), and pressure treated wood rails -> Elimination of pollutants.

OXO Wine allows for easy barrel rotation by a single person >. More frequent lees stirring, without opening the barrel resulting in less oxygen uptake and necessary sulfite additions. Simplified “bung on the side” aging. OXO Wine and OXO Spirit make barrel operations quick, easy and hassle-free, thus allowing for rigorous maturation monitoring.

OXO Wine and OXO Spirit allow for high-density storage of barrels in the cellar volume while maximizing air flow within the cellar > limitation of sudden temperature variations (good thermal inertia).

Guarantees you reliability and safety
04/05

Designed with a high safety coefficient -> Conforms to CE norms and work safety standards.

Parts are galvanized under the epoxy paint, which is baked at nearly 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The feet which form the base are plastified (to a thickness of 700um), sealed bearings, with food grade plastic rollers. -> Dependability, durability, without pollution.

Adjustable feet to adapt to uneven floors -> High degree of stability.

Offer flexibility, aesthetic and visual harmony
05/05

OXOline® is a modular system > scalable in height or length to suit your needs.

The OXO Wine and OXO Spirit structures is adapted, for the most part, to work with your existing barrels and tools (filling pistol, racking wand, etc) -> Simple and rapid integration into your cellar’s work flow.

Each barrel may be removed at any moment -> Maximum flexibility for the organization of your cellar; by quality, cooper, age of barrel, lot, etc.

The OXO Spirit1 structure is very discrete in its form and colors (black satin or galvanized) -> Aesthetic value of perfectly aligned barrels in the cellar.

"OXOline® enables us to extend the precision work undertaken from the vineyard to the winemaking stage. This innovative system, which makes each barrel easy to move, gives us greater responsiveness and eliminates the need to compromise on quality for logistical reasons."
